Dwida
Dwida is a traditional Tunisian dish made primarily with small, handmade pasta (similar to couscous but larger in size) called m'hamsa or berkoukes. The pasta is typically steamed or boiled and then cooked with a flavorful sauce.
The dish often features a tomato-based sauce seasoned with a variety of Tunisian spices like harissa, paprika, and turmeric, giving it a rich, warm flavor. Common ingredients include chickpeas, vegetables (such as carrots, zucchini, or potatoes), and protein options like lamb, chicken, or beef.
Dwida is hearty and comforting, making it a popular choice for family meals and special occasions in Tunisia. It is often garnished with fresh parsley or coriander before serving.
Imen makes it best :-)
