It all began with an unexpected connection that felt like pure fate ...

One single simple “Hey” that started it all - one word that turned into hours of conversation, day after day, revealing how much two people could have in common, despite coming from different environments. 

Different cultures, different continents, but somehow, we were on the same wavelength right from the start.

​

Two people from completely different worlds, one of us from the heart of Europe, where svíčková and štrúdl warm the soul, the other from sunny Tunisia, where couscous and harissa bring the heat.

Who knew that something as sweet as Czech pastry and as spicy as Tunisian chili could come together so perfectly?

​

For two months, our bond grew through endless messages, calls and late-night chats. We talked about everything - our passions, dreams, shared life perspectives, and even the little details that make us who we are.

It was almost unreal to discover how compatible we were, working in the same field, enjoying similar hobbies, and sharing the same values. Every conversation deepened our understanding of one another and made us feel like we’d known each other forever.​​

We discovered we had more in common than anyone would expect, even the same nerdy jokes.

​

While our cultures differ, our hobbies, our work, and our outlook on life made it clear - we’re two halves of the same world-spanning puzzle of our life.

​

The moment we finally met in person was like something out of a dream. We just knew.

After two months of just texting, that first date was nothing short of magical. All the things we had discovered through words suddenly came to life. We laughed, we talked, and we marveled at the realization that we had even more in common than we thought.

We even realized that “opposites” like štrúdl and harissa somehow belong on the same table.

It’s a little like world-famous Czech Pilsner Urquell and Tunisia’s own Celtia, two beers with the same strength but completely different tastes. Both are refreshing, both are drinkable, and although so far apart, both originated from the same original recipe.

​

Over time, our bond grew stronger, blending cultures and flavors into something uniquely ours.

Through all the moments that followed, both the joyful ones and the challenges, we’ve been each other’s biggest cheerleaders, confidants, and sources of strength.

Our connection has grown stronger with every step, and we’ve learned that love truly knows no borders, no limits.

Together, we’ve celebrated Czech Christmas and Tunisian Ramadan, enjoyed palačinky for breakfast and brik or dwida for dinner, and found that our differences don’t separate us - they make us richer.

Then we got engaged in style on Tunisian soil.

​

Now, as we take the next step in this beautiful journey, as we stand hand in hand, ready to write our next chapter, the chapter which is about building a life together, filled with laughter, adventure, and a love that transcends all boundaries.

 

We are so grateful and excited to share this journey with you - our family and friends who have cheered us on from several continents.

So, this is our love story: A perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and everything in between.

 

And the best part is, this is only just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
